The apartment is quite small in size, but there were plenty of tasks to accomplish. The clients are a young family with a child. The apartment needed to accommodate a kitchen with a living room, a bedroom, a children's room, 2 bathrooms, and 2 walk-in closets.
Taking into account only 3 windows in the apartment, one of which had a balcony where the external units of air conditioning and ventilation had to be placed, the task was not an easy one. And we decided to take a non-standard approach.
The soft wall with swings from Roberti Rattan for the little daughter adds coziness and relaxation, while the white Cesar Cucine kitchen brightens up the space, and the green sofa from Flexteam gives a sense of fresh spring foliage.
We allocated the window with the balcony for the walk-in closet, and in the combined kitchen-living room, we created 2 opposing windows to maintain the effect of natural sunlight in the space.
The children's room turned out to be quite small but functional enough. We managed to incorporate a sleeping area, a study area, and a play area. We initially planned for all storage systems to ensure a pleasant atmosphere in the room at any time.
For the bedroom, the homeowner initially wanted to combine blue and pink tones, so we decided to focus on a bed with an interesting high headboard. The textured wallpaper from Nobilis became the perfect background.
Two bathrooms in a black-and-white palette with splashes of vibrant colors (yellow and blue) beautifully complement the overall concept of a modern interior. Both bathrooms are fully functional. We managed to incorporate a laundry area, a shower, and a bathtub for bathing.
